The challenge
One website. Two hotels. Each run by one of two sisters from Zermatt — and guests must never mix them up.
Hotel Chesa Valese and Hotel Daniela needed to feel connected, but never confused. Visitors had to know instantly which hotel they were exploring, understand the differences between them and reach the correct booking experience.
The site also had to work seamlessly in three languages, stay clean and easy to navigate, and capture the warmth of two independently run Alpine hotels.
What we built
We created one cohesive website with two distinct hotel identities. Each property was given its own colour palette and visual cues, allowing guests to move between Hotel Chesa Valese and Hotel Daniela without ever losing their sense of place.
We designed a custom collection of room and facility icons, created clear accommodation and amenity layouts, and integrated the booking experience so guests could move naturally from browsing to reserving the right hotel.
The entire website was developed in German, English and French, with a friendly, approachable tone throughout. We also populated the site's guest chat widget, giving visitors another simple way to find answers and useful hotel information.
The result
One website. Two individual hotels — detailed where it needs to be, intentionally uncomplicated for the guest.
Guests can explore rooms and wellness, find what they need and book the right hotel with confidence, in English, German or French. Both properties were booked out for the winter season.
It looks simple. That was the point.
Behind that simplicity is careful UX, multilingual content, colour coding, custom iconography, booking integrations and a lot of thought about how a guest actually chooses between two hotels.
