We're John & Judy — designers, developers, problem-solvers and the people behind Collingwood Web Design. We combine creative thinking, technical know-how and a hands-on approach to build websites we're proud of — and relationships that tend to last.

John
John was a geek before it was even trendy. After graduating he embarked on a gap year that turned into 20+ years living and working in Zermatt, Switzerland — learning timekeeping, customer care and attention to detail as only the Swiss can teach. Hooked on the web from the early days, he set up a web design and support business, then continued that work when he returned to Collingwood, Canada in 2009.
Judy
Judy was born into a house of strong, creative Scottish lassies. After graduating in Fashion Design she worked for many of the best international fashion houses. She describes good design as being “a problem solver able to think outside the box.” Many miles and big brand names later, Judy brings that discerning eye to unique graphics in downtown Collingwood — just for you.

What started as two people with complementary skills has become a studio that treats design, development, SEO/AEO, accessibility and ongoing support as one conversation — not a hand-off between departments.

We acknowledge that Collingwood is on the ancestral and traditional lands of many Indigenous Peoples, including the Anishinabek, Haudenosaunee, Wendat and Métis. We also acknowledge that Collingwood is part of the Lake Simcoe–Nottawasaga Treaty of 1818 (Treaty 18) and resides within the territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.
We are grateful to live and work here, and we honour the generations of Indigenous Peoples who have cared for these lands and waters. We recognize their enduring presence, knowledge and contributions to our community, and our shared responsibility to continue learning and supporting truth and reconciliation.
